About the Role

B.C. Frozen Foods Ltd. is seeking a Production Labourer to join our team in a fruit and vegetable processing plant. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for transporting raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials. You will also measure and dump ingredients into mixing and grinding machines, feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers, and assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties.

Responsibilities
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials
  • Measure and dump ingredients into mixing and grinding machines
  • Feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers
  • Remove filled containers from conveyors
  • Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers
  • Feed and unload processing machines
  • Check products and packaging for basic quality defects
  • Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas

Requirements

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Work term: Permanent
  • Work language: English
  • Hours: 30 to 40 per week
