Human Factors Engineer/Scientist

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human factors engineering, with experience in developing and implementing Human Factors Engineering Program Plans (HFEPPs) and verification and validation plans. They will also have knowledge of nuclear industry guidelines and regulations, as well as experience in task analysis, function analysis, and usability testing.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering human factors expertise to power generation utilities and other customers, working closely with project teams to ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality of technical information and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HFEPPs and verification and validation plans
  • Apply nuclear industry guidelines and regulations
  • Conduct task analysis, function analysis, and usability testing
  • Deliver human factors expertise to power generation utilities and other customers
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality of technical information and project documentation

Requirements:

  • 4-year University degree in Engineering or Science
  • Human Factors certification from a recognized body
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer
  • 3-5 years' experience in human factors engineering
  • Knowledge of nuclear industry guidelines and regulations
