About the Role:

CareCorp Seniors Services is seeking a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in one of our beautiful assisted living facilities, Kiwanis Manor. As a member of our care team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Administer medications and provide nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of care staff to ensure high-quality care is provided to residents.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices in senior care.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
  • Current registration with the BC College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in dementia care (an asset).
