Job Summary
Brandon University is seeking Contract Academic Staff to teach courses in the Department of Psychology for the 2024-2025 academic year. The successful candidates will be responsible for teaching and developing curriculum for the following courses:
Courses
- 82:160 Introduction to Psychology: Part I, 3 credit hours
- 82:275 Adolescent Psychology, 3 credit hours
Qualifications
- A PhD in Psychology is preferred; Masters' Degree in Psychology is required.
- Applicants must have successful teaching experience and relevant expertise in the specified area.
- Knowledge and experience with Instructional Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, D2L) would be an asset.
Responsibilities
- Teach and develop curriculum for the specified courses.
- Develop and implement assessment strategies to evaluate student learning.
- Provide feedback to students on their academic performance.
Working Conditions
- The successful candidates will be required to teach in-person at Brandon University.
- Preference will be given to qualified candidates who will teach in-person.
