Job Opportunity:

The Department of Psychology at Brandon University is seeking Contract Academic Staff to teach various courses in the 2024-2025 academic year. These courses may be delivered in an online synchronous format, but preference will be given to qualified candidates who will teach in-person.

Qualifications:

  • A PhD in Psychology is preferred; a Master's Degree in Psychology is required. Applicants may seek to establish an experiential/traditional equivalency to the Master's degree and are invited to contact the Chair of the Selection Committee for guidance.
  • Applicants must have successful teaching experience and relevant expertise in the specified area.
  • Knowledge and experience with Instructional Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, D2L) would be an asset.

Course Details:

Two courses are available: 82:160 Introduction to Psychology: Part I, 3 credit hours, and 82:275 Adolescent Psychology, 3 credit hours. Both courses will be taught in-person.
