Job Responsibilities

  • Conduit bending and installation
  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
  • Drilling and cable-pulling
  • Cutting in and splicing switches, receptacles, and lights
  • Operating standard construction power tools

Requirements

  • Registered apprenticeship through the Industry Training Authority (ITA) with a minimum of one year of schooling in the electrical field
  • Electrical field experience is required
  • Commercial or residential construction experience is an asset
  • Basic hand tools and cordless power tools
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Adequate knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC)
  • Willingness to work out of town, longer shifts, and/or evening shifts
