Job Responsibilities
- Conduit bending and installation
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
- Drilling and cable-pulling
- Cutting in and splicing switches, receptacles, and lights
- Operating standard construction power tools
Requirements
- Registered apprenticeship through the Industry Training Authority (ITA) with a minimum of one year of schooling in the electrical field
- Electrical field experience is required
- Commercial or residential construction experience is an asset
- Basic hand tools and cordless power tools
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Adequate knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC)
- Willingness to work out of town, longer shifts, and/or evening shifts
