About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Canadian Bank Note Company Limited.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procure materials and supplies for manufacturing processes, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms of agreements.
  • Coordinate with production teams to determine procurement needs and ensure inventory management.
  • Analyze and document comparative quote proposal results to optimize costs.
  • Prepare and review purchase orders for accuracy, updating purchasing systems to maintain records.
  • Ensure procurement processes adhere to company policies and procedures, maintaining compliance with relevant standards.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in purchasing, sales, materials inventory management, or buying.
  • Project Management Association of Canada (PMAC) certification is a strong asset.
  • Supply Chain Management certification preferred but not required.
  • Fluency in English, with fluency in French an asset.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Secret Level II personal security clearance.
