Nurse Practitioner

Key Responsibilities:- Assess and monitor residents' health status, developing and implementing personalized care plans as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments, providing wound care and managing medical equipment.
- Educate residents and their families on health management, promoting independence and well-being.
- Supervise and coordinate care provided by other healthcare staff, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
- Respond to medical emergencies, providing first aid and stabilizing patients until further medical attention is available.
- Document residents' medical histories and progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (BScN) or equivalent qualification.
- Have experience as a visiting nurse, visiting registered nurse, or community nurse, with a strong understanding of wound care, IV medications, and re-sites.
- Be physically able to stand, bend, walk, crouch, kneel, and reach, with the ability to lift 50lbs (23 kg) independently.
- Hold valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certification, with updated immunization records and a clear Vulnerable Sector check.
- Have excellent problem-solving, time management, and crisis resolution skills, with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Be able to use phone applications and have a valid G2/G driver's license, with access to a reliable vehicle for daily travel.
