Senior Member Service Representative

DUCA Financial Services Credit Union Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Member Service Representative to join our team at the Newmarket Branch.

Job Summary:

The Senior Member Service Representative will provide exceptional customer service to our members, handling a wide range of financial transactions, and promoting DUCA's products and services. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to members, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and cheque cashing, while maintaining accurate records and balancing cash.
  • Promote DUCA's products and services to members, identifying opportunities to increase sales and revenue.
  • Assist with training and development of junior staff members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Work collaboratively with branch management to achieve sales and service targets, and contribute to the overall success of the branch.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a financial services environment, with a focus on customer service and sales.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, and a strong understanding of financial products and services.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
