Senior Member Service Representative

DUCA Financial Services Credit Union Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Senior Member Service Representative to join our team at the Newmarket Branch.

Job Summary:

The Senior Member Service Representative will provide exceptional customer service to DUCA Members, handling a wide range of financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and cheque cashing. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to DUCA Members, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and cheque cashing, while maintaining accurate records and balancing cash.
  • Assist Members with opening new accounts, purchasing insurance products, and investing in DUCA's financial services.
  • Collaborate with the Branch Manager to achieve sales and service targets, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in local market business development opportunities and community events to promote DUCA's services.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years' experience in a financial services environment, with a focus on customer service and sales.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Cash handling experience and proficiency in using financial software.
