About Our Client

Michael Page is a leading recruitment agency with a strong presence in the construction industry. We are partnering with a major construction group to find a skilled Senior Estimator for their high-rise formwork division.

Job Description

As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for performing the full tender process from invitation to submission. This includes conducting quantity take-offs and cost estimations, reviewing scope and completing bid forms, conducting site visits and attending bid interviews, communicating and negotiating with suppliers, preparing RFIs with clients, maintaining the tender tracker and tracking submissions, following up with clients throughout the bidding process, reviewing production with the operations team, mentoring and training junior team members, presenting bid opportunities to management, seeking new formwork opportunities, and bringing new clients and business to the company.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need 5+ years of construction experience, 4+ years of estimation experience, and experience in high-rise formwork estimating. You should be based in either the GTA or Greater Ottawa Metropolitan Area.

What We Offer
