Job Title: Co-Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Co-Manager to join our team at DSW. As a Co-Manager, you will be responsible for leading the store environment, fostering inclusivity and diverse customer connections, and driving sales and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume leadership role with accountability for maximizing store business results by creating exceptional customer experiences.
- Facilitate achievement of business results by role modeling a shopping experience that encourages uniquely responsive customer service, compelling merchandise presentation, and operational integrity.
- Lead an operationally sound business by balancing company policies, procedures, shrink/loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling.
- Recruit, manage, develop, and train top talent who have a love of shoes.
- Achieve company objectives and enhance the DSW brand image by modeling our values of Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, and Authenticity/Humility.
- Develop and implement agile business plans to achieve results.
- Foster teamwork, collaboration, and change advocacy within the store and district.
- Maintain effective, open lines of communication with Store Manager.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in progressive retail supervisory role.
- Proven success in the achievement of sales and profitability targets in large volume top doors.
- Positive and energetic team player with a strong leadership capability.
- Proven ability to motivate others.
- Proficiency in computer use, including email, MS Word or other word processing program, and Excel or other spreadsheet programs.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while also being committed to creating a compelling customer experience.
- Ability to work days, closing shifts, and weekends.
- Mobile within a geographic area.
