We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Real Canadian Superstore. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized meat department, ensuring high-quality products are available to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Stock shelves and display areas with fresh meat products
- Price items using a stamp or stickers according to the price list
- Obtain articles for customers from the shelf or stockroom
- Keep stock clean and in order, maintaining a safe and healthy environment
- Direct customers to the location of articles sought
- Maintain computerized stock inventory, ensuring accurate records
- Operate an electric palette jack to move stock
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or questions
- Record incoming stock, unpacking and counting products as needed
- Criminal record check
- Ability to stand for extended periods, with frequent walking and bending
- Attention to detail, ensuring accurate inventory and customer service
- Physically demanding role, with handling of heavy loads
- Flexibility, with ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Organized and reliable, with strong teamwork skills
