Meat Cutter

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Real Canadian Superstore. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for ensuring our meat department is well-stocked and visually appealing.
Key Responsibilities:- Stock shelves and display areas with a variety of meat products
- Price items using a stamp or stickers according to our price list
- Obtain articles for customers from the shelf or stockroom
- Keep stock clean and in order, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for customers
- Direct customers to the location of articles sought
- Maintain computerized stock inventory to ensure accurate tracking
- Operate an electric palette jack to move stock around the store
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and making recommendations
- Record incoming stock and unpack products received by the store
- Criminal record check
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility and reliability, with a strong team player attitude
- Experience an asset, but not required
