Scientific Liaison for Pharmaceutical Innovation

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Scientific Liaison to contribute to the growth and success of our Customer Insights and Value team at BenchSci. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your scientific expertise to help top Pharma scientists advance medicine and transform the BenchSci pilot and service model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become a subject matter expert of BenchSci technology and communicate its value to industry scientists and key account stakeholders.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers to understand the impact of BenchSci on their research.
  • Develop an understanding of customer therapeutic, functional research, and organizational landscapes to contribute to account growth strategy.
  • Work directly with customers on scientific research projects, providing evidence to support business cases.
  • Draft scientific reports for pilot and enterprise customers.
  • Collaborate with Customer Therapeutics to execute pilot projects and enterprise reports, maximizing their impact and value to customers.
  • Partner with sales during the pre-sales lifecycle, contributing to the development of business cases.
  • Support new product launches with customers by providing scientific consultative insights to drive impact on customer preclinical research projects.
  • Represent BenchSci at relevant conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
  • Stay up-to-date on new scientific and technology trends.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field, or a degree in a related field with 1-2+ years of experience working at the bench as a scientist in pharmaceutical or biotech industries.
  • 2+ years of experience working in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries in a customer-facing role.
  • Ability to translate and infuse functional and technology capabilities into scientific discussions.
  • Comfortable spending time with clients and presenting in front of audiences of varying sizes and tenure, both in-person and remotely.
  • A team player able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
  • A passion for making a real impact through your work within the life sciences industry.
  • A valid passport and driver's license, and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time, including internationally.
