Scientific Liaison for Pharmaceutical Innovation

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Scientific Liaison to contribute to the growth and success of our Customer Insights and Value team at BenchSci. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your scientific expertise to help top Pharma scientists advance medicine and transform the BenchSci pilot and service model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Become a subject matter expert of BenchSci technology and communicate its value to industry scientists and key account stakeholders.
- Build trusted relationships with customers to understand the impact of BenchSci on their research.
- Develop an understanding of customer therapeutic, functional research, and organizational landscapes to contribute to account growth strategy.
- Work directly with customers on scientific research projects, providing evidence to support business cases.
- Draft scientific reports for pilot and enterprise customers.
- Collaborate with Customer Therapeutics to execute pilot projects and enterprise reports, maximizing their impact and value to customers.
- Partner with sales during the pre-sales lifecycle, contributing to the development of business cases.
- Support new product launches with customers by providing scientific consultative insights to drive impact on customer preclinical research projects.
- Represent BenchSci at relevant conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
- Stay up-to-date on new scientific and technology trends.
Requirements:
- A degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field, or a degree in a related field with 1-2+ years of experience working at the bench as a scientist in pharmaceutical or biotech industries.
- 2+ years of experience working in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries in a customer-facing role.
- Ability to translate and infuse functional and technology capabilities into scientific discussions.
- Comfortable spending time with clients and presenting in front of audiences of varying sizes and tenure, both in-person and remotely.
- A team player able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
- A passion for making a real impact through your work within the life sciences industry.
- A valid passport and driver's license, and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time, including internationally.
