Slot Department Supervisor

As a Slot Supervisor with the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our casino guests have an exceptional entertainment experience. You will supervise Slot department staff and activities, ensuring compliance with Slot department regulations and procedures.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring Slot operations to ensure seamless execution and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assisting department management with staffing and performance management to optimize team performance.
- Carrying out administrative tasks as directed by the Slot Manager to support operational efficiency.
- Creating and distributing staff schedules to meet operational needs and control costs.
- Serving shifts as the Manager on Duty on a rotational schedule to ensure continuity and coverage.
- Participating in other projects and activities as required to enhance the casino's slot offerings and player experience.
Successful candidates will be subject to a background check and required to obtain and maintain a gaming employee Certificate of Registration from the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA)/Indigenous Gaming Regulators (IGR).
The minimum age to work in a casino or any area where gaming can be seen is 19 years of age.
Some SIGA locations operate in a high sensory environment, which may expose you to tobacco smoke, high noise levels, flashing and blinking lights, and a congested workplace. SIGA adheres to all occupational health and safety regulations and makes every effort to limit the adverse effects of these elements.

Compliance with all regulatory requirements applicable to your position, including SLGA requirements and the Anti-Money Laundering requirements set out in the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act and regulations and policies made thereunder by Canada and FINTRAC.
QualificationsEducation:
- Successful completion of Grade 12 or GED or a combination of relevant education, training, and/or experience.
Experience:
- Experience in a casino slots department, minimum of one year or combination of relevant training.
- Experience assisting with recruitment, training, coaching, and scheduling of staff while in a supervisory role.
