Overview

Paladin Security is committed to providing exceptional service and ensuring the safety of our healthcare workers and visitors. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Healthcare Security Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to alarms, emergency requests, and incidents in a professional and timely manner.
  • Monitor site visitors, perform ID checks, and maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling private information.
  • Respond to site emergencies, including medical emergencies, fires, and other urgent matters.
  • Effectively communicate all suspicious activities, concerns, issues, and events to our dispatch team.
  • Prepare and maintain professional and effective reports regarding security violations and hazardous occurrences.
  • Regularly patrol the facility to ensure the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff.

Requirements:

  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, including report writing.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, professional demeanor, and deportment.
  • Ability to solve problems, make decisions, and respond to emergencies under pressure.
  • Discretion when handling confidential and private information.
  • Physical ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to pass a security clearance and obtain a security license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent and of legal age.

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Standard First Aid, CPR Level C.
