Job Title: Fabrication Welder

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Welder to join our team at Velocity Machining & Welding Inc. As a Fabrication Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and computer-aided design (CAD)
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
Requirements:
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Pressure Welding Certification
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Welder Trade Red Seal Certificate
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
  • Forklift Operator Certification
Work Environment:

Our work site environment includes working outdoors, at heights, in cold/refrigerated conditions, in confined spaces, in dusty conditions, in hot conditions, in noisy conditions, and with odours.
