Job Title: Fabrication Welder

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Welder to join our team at Velocity Machining & Welding Inc. As a Fabrication Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in fabrication welding or a related field
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Basic security clearance
Work Environment:

Our fabrication shop is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding work. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a variety of temperatures.
