The Operations Manager will report directly to the Sr. Operations Manager for FMO / ICI. The primary function of this role is to realize and expand Black & McDonald's core value through overall relationship and outcome management by applying an integrated approach to delivery of all Black & McDonald self-performed, managed work, including:
- Ensuring processes and procedures are in place to ensure consistency and continuity of services.
- Demonstrating leadership in all aspects of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) for the staff under their care.
- Leveraging and deploying the wider Black & McDonald service offering and resources.
This role will establish a governance model that gives customers direct interface with senior management. The Operations Manager will act as the Owner's Representative for stipulated work and other tasks as requested. They will hold primary responsibility for clear, comprehensive, and timely reporting as agreed.
This role requires addressing, documenting, and rectifying any contractual or performance items with full transparency and integrity, focusing on best business outcomes for customers. They will provide technical and operational guidance and support to the Facilities Manager and Project Management.
The Operations Manager will monitor Quality Assurance (QA) throughout the portfolio, in conjunction with the QA Manager, to ensure customer satisfaction. They will lead/attend meetings on a regular and frequent basis to provide monthly and quarterly reporting, highlighting performance, achievements, and recommendations.
This role will champion the adoption and leveraging of emerging technologies to achieve better business outcomes. They will ensure accountability and a Continuous Improvement emphasis for the benefit of our customers.
