Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough security assessments of systems and applications to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks.
  • Develop and implement remediation strategies to address identified vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security, to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the business.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies, and provide recommendations for improving our security posture.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in security architecture assessment or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, SSCP, or CISM are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize security risks.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with security frameworks and standards, such as NIST or ISO 27001.
  • Knowledge of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
  • Experience with security testing and vulnerability assessment tools.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and industry trends.
