We're looking for an experienced Android developer to join our Terminal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Android apps and SDKs in Kotlin.
Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain Android apps and SDKs in Kotlin.
- Develop Android payment applications for a variety of devices and form factors.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders across the company to bring new features and products to Stripe's mobile users.
- Work with user research and product design to understand users and address their needs.
- 6+ years of experience in Android development.
- Strong technical background and ability to listen well and internalize best ideas from all over the organization.
- Prefer simple solutions and designs over complex ones.
- Thrive in a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Ability to put yourself in the shoes of your users and be a steward of crafting great developer and consumer experiences.
This role offers a competitive salary range of C$134,400 - C$258,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Additional benefits include equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; retirement plans; health benefits; and wellness stipends.
LocationToronto, Canada, with remote work options available.
