About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Assistant to join our team at PARAS CONSTRUCTION INC. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Operations: Assist in the preparation and execution of construction projects, including measuring and preparing materials for rigging and hoisting.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate heavy equipment such as cranes, pile driving machines, and gantry cranes to drive pilings, move materials, and load/unload cargo.
  • Team Support: Provide guidance and training to apprentices and assist in the maintenance of equipment and tools.
  • Material Handling: Assist in the mixing, pouring, and spreading of materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Site Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by cleaning up spills, removing rubble, and performing routine maintenance tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: Will train on the job.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
