Construction Painter

We are seeking a skilled Construction Painter to join our team at Primetime Painting. As a Construction Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
Work Site EnvironmentOur Construction Painters work outdoors and at heights, so you must be comfortable with these conditions. You will also be required to relocate to various locations, with relocation costs covered by the employer.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
- Repair cracks and holes
- Mix paint to desired color and texture
- Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
- Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging
- Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
Our Construction Painters hold certifications in CPR and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS). You must be willing to travel and have a strong attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to distinguish between colors.
Physical DemandsThe job requires bending, crouching, and kneeling, and you must be physically demanding. You will also be required to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
