Zematar Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled Construction Painter to join our team.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Construction Painter to work on various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and decorating, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and clean surfaces to be painted, including walls, ceilings, and trim.
- Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings.
- Mix and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as needed.
- Advise clients on color choices and wall coverings.
- Estimate costs and materials for projects.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in painting and decorating.
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques and materials.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
The Construction Painter will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with frequent exposure to dust, noise, and other hazards. The ideal candidate will be able to work safely and efficiently, with minimal supervision.
