At Public Disposal and Recycling Inc., we are seeking a skilled Logistics Courier to join our team. As a key member of our delivery operations, you will be responsible for transporting a variety of items and products to our customers. Your primary duties will include:

  • Delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand
  • Operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to transport various items and products
  • Providing exceptional customer service and professionalism in all interactions
  • Relaying information to central dispatch and maintaining accurate records of items received and delivered
  • Following directions, reading maps, and using navigation tools to ensure efficient routes and delivery times
  • Performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles to maintain safe and reliable transportation

In this role, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be expected to work under pressure to meet customer expectations. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment and adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • A valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Local transportation and travel experience
  • Criminal record check
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills
