Job Title: Beauty Salon Operator

Ontario COPR is seeking a skilled Beauty Salon Operator to join our team. As a key member of our salon team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring that all salon services are delivered to the highest standards.

Job Summary:
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise clients on beauty care treatments and analyze hair and scalp condition
  • Book appointments and provide custom hair and scalp treatment
  • Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences
  • Shampoo customers' hair and provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and also provide scalp conditioning massages
  • Supervise other hair stylists and other staff, and supervise apprentices/students in training
  • Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair, and apply hair extensions
  • Clean and style wigs and hair pieces, and cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
  • Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features and preferences, and perform receptionist duties
  • Maintain and order supplies
