Job Title: Survey Assistant

Job Summary:

The Survey Assistant will play a key role in supporting our survey teams in the field, assisting with various tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of our projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and develop their skills in a dynamic and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with survey tasks and activities in the field, including data collection and equipment maintenance.
  • Support the survey team in achieving project timelines and deliverables.
  • Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety requirements and protocols.
  • Actively contribute to a positive and professional team atmosphere.
  • Assist with the maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials at project sites, office, and in crew vehicles.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in Geomatics or Civil Engineering Technology, or related discipline.
  • Previous experience in surveying or related fieldwork.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly for client, project, and GeoVerra requirements.
  • Commitment to respond to situations that occur outside traditional working hours.
  • Capacity to take directions and communicate effectively.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driver's abstract and background check.
