Emergency Medicine Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at St. Martha's Regional Hospital in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. As a member of our emergency department, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with a team of experienced healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Provide full scope of practice as an emergency physician, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
- Eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) or the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
- ATLS, ACLS, PALS, and advanced Airway training required
