Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of truck drivers to ensure efficient and safe transportation of goods
  • Train and develop drivers to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Coordinate and schedule transportation activities to meet customer demands
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Recommend personnel actions to management
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance of company vehicles
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and laws
Working Conditions
  • Permanent position
  • English language required
  • 32 to 40 hours per week
