Software Implementation Project Manager

The Project Manager will work closely with the customer project manager to provide overall project management for customer implementations. This includes managing multiple concurrent projects, defining and documenting project scope, schedule, milestones, and deliverables that support our customers' business objectives.
The Project Manager will ensure project alignment with internal proprietary implementation methodology and best practices to enforce project management standards and delivery quality. They will direct and coordinate the activities of a multi-disciplinary team of consultants and experts within a matrix organization to ensure on-schedule and on-budget delivery.
The Project Manager will track project against the plan, anticipate risks, recommend corrective action, and ensure stakeholders are kept informed. They will drive regular status meetings with internal and customer's project teams and communicate effectively on all expected activities, deliverables, and timing.
The Project Manager will ensure all customer commitments, deliverables, timelines, and milestones are followed through to completion. They will report weekly on project status and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience managing software implementation projects as a service provider to external customers, related to warehousing, distribution, retail, or any other ERP projects. They will have experience in either the healthcare/hospital industry or in supply chain, logistics, and complex distribution.
The candidate will have demonstrated knowledge of project management processes, including project planning, resource scheduling/booking, stakeholder management, financial management, and issue/risk management. They will have a demonstrated understanding and experience of project delivery methodologies and the application of these approaches in a formal project environment.
The candidate will have the ability to develop reliable project timelines and deliver against them. They will have strong customer management skills, be an expert user of project management software, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
PMP certification would be a plus. The position requires travel within North America of up to 20%. Strong proficiency in both written and verbal English communication is essential for effective correspondence with clients, suppliers, business partners, and colleagues beyond the province of Quebec.
