Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at SE Health. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality nursing care to clients in their homes, promoting independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply and empty bed pans
  • Serve meal trays and feed patients
  • Weigh, lift, turn and position patients
  • Deliver messages, reports, requisitions and specimens between departments
  • Make beds and maintain patients' rooms
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines
  • Bathe, dress and groom patients
  • Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations
Requirements
  • CPR Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Immunization records
  • Vulnerable sector check
  • Tuberculosis test
Work Environment

As a Personal Support Worker, you will work in a variety of settings, including home care and visiting care agencies, rural and urban areas, and various locations. You will be required to stand for extended periods, lift up to 23 kg, and perform repetitive tasks.
