About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Helper to join our team at Mogouyan Hand Pulled Noodle. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Scour pots and pans to ensure they are free from food residue and stains.
  • Keep accurate records of food quantities used, supporting our inventory management and ordering processes.
  • Package take-out food for our customers, ensuring it is presented attractively and safely.
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, following established procedures.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Sharpen kitchen knives to ensure they are in good condition and ready for use.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, preparing them for cooking and presentation.
Requirements
  • Will train on the job, so no prior experience is necessary.
  • Permanent employment opportunity.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Ability to work 30-40 hours per week.
