Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for assessing, researching, and analyzing business, technical, and system needs to resolve business systems enhancements and issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and capture business requirements, and translate them to functional specifications.
  • Provide in-depth analysis and solutioning for financial market and investments data.
  • Lead complex group meetings for problem solving, decision making, and implementation planning.
  • Provide technical expertise and assist Development and QA teams during project execution.
  • Provide efficient second-tier support to critical applications.
  • Provide direction, expertise, feedback, coaching, and development to build the capabilities of more junior staff.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years working experience as a Business System Analyst.
  • Strong understanding of Investment Management business domain and concepts.
  • Proven ability to acquire deep functional understanding of new Wealth Management solutions.
  • Excellent data analysis with experience in performing integration between different data systems and defining their interfaces.
  • Proficient in SQL querying to perform data mining and data analysis.
