Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at JeanCoutu095. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of prescription information, preparing medications for clients, and maintaining inventories of medications and prescription records.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the accuracy of prescription information and enter client information in databases
  • Prepare medications for clients and compound oral solutions, ointments, and creams
  • Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products
  • Interpret physician's specifications and supervise and direct activities of other medical technologists or technicians
  • Billing third-party insurers and maintaining accurate records
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Will train or equivalent experience
  • Urban area and pharmacy or drugstore work setting
