At Borea Construction, we are harnessing the power of renewable energy to generate something big. As a Senior Estimator Project Manager, you will play a key role in establishing the quantities of material required and analyzing costs for potential projects.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to our mission of responsibly energizing future generations sustainably. Your responsibilities will include reviewing proposal specifications, collecting project documents, and coordinating with external consultants to identify risks and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review proposal specifications and drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Collect all necessary project documents, including construction drawings, specifications, and tender forms
  • Analyze drawings and specifications to identify potential risks and opportunities
  • Coordinate with external consultants to develop preliminary engineering plans
  • Prepare and send technical questions and answers (RFI) to clients
  • Develop project schedules and optimize work sequences
  • Prepare and send tender documents to qualified suppliers and subcontractors
  • Analyze bid content and extract quantities using company tools
  • Evaluate project difficulty and estimate costs using company software
  • Prepare project overheads, including supervision, general conditions, offices, insurance, and safety
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in estimating
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated interest in the renewable energy industry
  • Knowledge of MS Project, Excel, and Bid2win
  • Excellent analytical skills, thoroughness, and attention to detail

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
