Job Summary

MP BOOKKEEPING is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Professional to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Accurately record and reconcile financial transactions
    • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
    • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
    • Develop and implement financial reporting systems
  • Accounting Systems
    • Implement and maintain accounting software
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial data entry
  • Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
    • Develop and implement internal controls to prevent financial errors
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 5 years or more of experience in accounting or a related field
  • Skills
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Computer and Technology Skills
    • Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Simply Accounting
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
