Baker Tilly SNT is currently looking for an experienced, motivated, and client-driven individual to join our growing team as a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will be an integral part of our team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to continue to develop your career with challenging and rewarding opportunities, while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Year-end planning for various companies, including communication and coordination with clients directly
  • Preparation and review of financial statements and tax filings
  • Supervising engagements and related tax filings within a paperless office environment
  • Identifying and resolving engagement issues
  • Training and mentoring junior staff on engagements
  • Ensuring the clients' satisfaction with the firm's services
  • Providing timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations
  • Identifying and cultivating new business opportunities for clients

A successful candidate will have:

  • University Business Degree
  • CPA designation is an asset
  • Three or more years of progressive public accounting experience
  • Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge
  • Bilingualism in French/English is an asset
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
  • A passion for client service
