Key Responsibilities- Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs for construction projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Prepare tenders and quotations for clients.
- Supervise other workers on site.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Judgement and reliability.
- Team player with punctuality.
- Permanent work term.
- 40 hours per week.
- English language required.
