Job Title: Telecom Network Architect
We are seeking an experienced Telecom Network Architect to join our team at CIMA+. As a Telecom Network Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing wired and wireless telecom networks for our clients. This is a hybrid role that can be based out of our office in Vancouver.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement telecom network architectures for our clients, ensuring they meet their critical operation needs.
- Collaborate with our team to deliver telecom system designs and engineering documents for projects.
- Develop schematics and design diagrams, write project scope, proposals, estimates, and budgets.
- Prepare and review engineering documents, specifications, and inspection and testing procedures.
- Coordinating, staging and planning installation and commissioning with the client and contractors.
- Traveling to site and liaising with internal groups and external contractors and clients.
- Responding to information requests from site and completing project documentation including record drawings, calculations, and project return data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent, along with a Professional Engineering (P.Eng.), or the ability to register as a Professional with EGBC.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in design and implementation of wired and wireless telecom networks in an EPC/EPCM firm or client/owner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organization skills and excellent interpersonal abilities.
