About the Job

Shancheng Li, Lisheng Wu is seeking a dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide companionship and caregiving services to elderly individuals and those with disabilities in their homes.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Launder clothing and household linens to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to ensure the client's home remains tidy.
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in activities to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Offer personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Shop for food and household supplies to ensure clients have access to essential items.
  • Cook nutritious meals to promote healthy eating habits.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in a similar field is an asset, but not mandatory.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
  • Patience and understanding when dealing with clients who may require additional support.
Working Conditions

You will be working in a fast-paced environment, often independently, and will be required to:

  • Work in the employer's/client's home, ensuring confidentiality and discretion at all times.
  • Repetitive tasks, such as laundry and housekeeping, are a regular part of this role.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience, plus benefits, including:

We estimate the annual salary for this role to be around $52,000 - $72,000, based on 30-35 hours of work per week.

Security Clearance and Physical Capabilities
