Heavy Duty Mechanic Opportunity

We are currently seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team in South Surrey, BC.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Repair and service Caterpillar, Hitachi, Deere, Komatsu equipment both in the shop and in the field.
  • Diagnose, identify and repair problems, faults and malfunctions in structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems.
  • Maintain and repair vehicles including but not limited to: earth moving equipment, trucks, trailers and tracked equipment.
  • Use hand and power tools to repair and perform maintenance on equipment.
  • Take direction from shop Foreman and work harmoniously with co-workers to ensure all repairs and tests are performed satisfactorily.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications:
  • Interprovincial Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic trade certification.
  • Valid Class 5 license with air brake endorsement required.
  • Minimum of four (4) years' Red Seal certified experience.
  • Minimum ten years experience.
  • Welding experience an asset.
  • Prior experience with Caterpillar, Hitachi, Deere, Komatsu equipment.
  • CSTS certificate, First Aid and WHMIS certificate(s) are an asset.
