About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Professional to join our team at Accel Professional Corporation. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as maintain accurate records of employee benefits.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws, including tax laws and accounting standards.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
