Job Description

Job Title: Senior Portfolio Management Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Portfolio Management Director to join our team at National Bank. As a key member of our National Client Group, you will work closely with our Directors to provide expert financial advice and guidance to medium and large private enterprises with complex financing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an expert advisor and suggest financial strategies that meet the complex needs of medium and large private enterprises with financing needs of more than $20 million.
  • Support Directors when setting up new financings and at all stages of file monitoring and renewal.
  • Help clients achieve their business objectives by proposing financial strategies based on the most suitable combination of specialized financing products.
  • Provide expertise in the areas of financing structure, financial analysis, and all aspects of file analysis.
  • Identify risks and make recommendations to the credit committee in accordance with Bank policies.
  • Demonstrate a high level of collaboration and actively participate in achieving your business unit's objectives.

Requirements:

  • Completed bachelor's degree in a related field and 7 years' relevant experience, or completed master's degree in a related field and 5 years' relevant experience.
  • Experience in financial analysis (financial statements, projections, etc.).
  • Experience in commercial credit and knowledge of the Commercial Banking sector.
  • Experience with complex financing structures (business acquisition, LBO, project financing, etc.).
  • Ability to manipulate financial models in Excel.
  • Bilingualism, spoken and written (English and French).
