About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analytics Engineer to join our team at Rewind. As a key member of our data team, you will be responsible for managing data, designing and maintaining robust data models, and ensuring data accessibility. Your expertise in SQL, dbt, BigQuery, and database structures will be crucial in optimizing our data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Data Modeling and Transformation: Design, build, and maintain advanced data models using SQL, dbt, and BigQuery to support comprehensive data analytics and reporting requirements.
  2. Develop Resilient Data Structures: Create and maintain fact and dimension tables and data marts, transforming raw data into structured datasets to ensure integrity and efficiency.
  3. Enhance Self-Service Data Product: Improve user-friendliness and empower teams to independently retrieve data.
  4. Optimize Data Performance: Utilize expert SQL knowledge to optimize data queries and enhance overall performance.
  5. Integrate with Modern Data Stack: Experience with tools like Fivetran, dbt, Hightouch, and Census.
  6. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Serve as the primary point of contact for key data models, offer guidance and support to analysts and team members, and ensure the GTM teams have the data needed to drive strategic insights.
Requirements
  1. 3+ Years of Experience: In data transformation using dbt and working with CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot.
  2. Expert Knowledge: SQL, cloud data warehousing (BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks), and database structures.
  3. Strong Analytical Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Data Governance: Familiarity with data governance principles and data quality assurance.
  5. Experience in SaaS Industry: A plus.
