Health Careers in Sask is seeking a Recreation Program Supervisor to lead the Recreational Activity Department. This exciting role involves supervising and directing recreational programs to enhance the holistic care of clients/patients/residents. The successful candidate will have experience working in a recreation department in a healthcare setting, a Therapeutic Recreation diploma, and excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Job Summary

This is a full-time regular position with a salary range of $30,730 to $32,880 per year. The Recreation Program Supervisor will be responsible for developing, planning, organizing, and delivering programs that cater to the mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, and cultural needs of clients/patients/residents. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and leadership skills, as well as intermediate computer skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct recreational activity programs
  • Develop and implement program plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure effective program delivery

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field
  • At least one year of experience working in a recreation department in a healthcare setting
