We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Coast Tire & Auto Service Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, and performing scheduled maintenance service.

The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnostics, alignment, steering and suspension, brake system, fuel and emission system, ignition and electrical system, drive train components, and front end components. Additionally, they will be able to provide excellent customer service, advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements, and complete reports to record problems and work performed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service

Requirements:

  • Experience in diagnostics, alignment, steering and suspension, brake system, fuel and emission system, ignition and electrical system, drive train components, and front end components

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
