Job Title: Automotive Service Technician Apprentice

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician Apprentice to join our team at Coast Tire & Auto Service Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, and performing scheduled maintenance service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Provide customer service
  • Repair and balance tires
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Tools
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
  • Attention to detail
  • Manual dexterity
