Job Title: Truck and Transport Vehicle Repairer

GARAGE CHAREST & FRÈRES INC. is seeking a skilled Truck and Transport Vehicle Repairer to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Truck and Transport Vehicle Repairer to work on commercial transport trucks, trailers, and other heavy-duty vehicles. The successful candidate will have a strong background in engine repair, electrical and electronic systems, and diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Requirements:
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Tools
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. The work site environment is dusty, and the candidate must be able to stand for extended periods.
