Operating Room Nurse

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Rooms at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, BC.
Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in the Operating Rooms. As a member of our surgical team, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nursing services in an operating room environment, including preparing patients for surgery, administering anesthesia, and monitoring vital signs.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operating room workflow.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in perioperative nursing.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Completion of a recognized advanced nursing specialty program in operating room nursing, or two (2) years' recent, related experience in an acute care operating room environment.
